The PV system and battery are connected to a hybrid inverter. Critical loads are supplied through the backup output, while common loads remain on the site’s main AC bus.
The meter and CT at the point of connection measure power flows and provide data to the system controller. This solution is suitable for new or modernised PV systems where self-consumption and backup power are priorities.

Where one or more PV systems with grid-tied inverters are already operating on site, the BESS can be connected as a separate system to the common AC bus.
The BESS with integrated PCS is controlled using meter data, so the existing PV inverters do not need to be replaced. This architecture is typically used to retrofit existing PV systems for energy arbitrage, peak shaving and increased self-consumption.

Three battery containers are connected to a common DC bus and one power conversion container. The container integrates the PCS, transformer, RMU, communications and EMS equipment.
The system is connected to the medium-voltage grid through the transformer and RMU. Power and capacity are increased by repeating standardised battery and power conversion blocks.
