Description
Purpose and compatibility
The TB-HS51O is the energy-storing optimizer battery module used in the TSYS-HS51 system. It is designed to operate with the TBMS-S51-8O battery management unit and only in manufacturer-approved TSYS-HS51 configurations. A complete optimized battery tower is built with TB-HS51O modules.
Battery technology
The module uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells and provides 5.1 kWh of rated energy. The manufacturer specifies a cycle life of more than 6,000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge under the test conditions stated in the datasheet.
Optimizer function
The integrated optimizer monitors and balances the individual module. This reduces the impact of module-to-module differences, accelerates energy balancing and enables an optimized battery system to be expanded by combining new and previously installed TB-HS51O modules.
Design and safety
The compact module is stacked with other modules from the same range without a separate external cabinet. An integrated aerosol fire-suppression system and LFP cell chemistry enhance operational safety. Current, temperature, IP66 ingress protection and communication ratings apply to a correctly configured complete TSYS-HS51 system.
